Thank God It's Friday!

Weekend outings started early for me coz hubby was on half day last Friday. We did quite abit of shopping (actually only me), visited some interesting places, had both yummy and not-so yummy food, went drinking finally, etc. Took heaps of pictures and shall post them up over a spread of days.

Friday started with a not-very-fantastic lunch at a chinese bubble tea place nearby (btw a glass of bubble tea here could have gotten us 5 cups in Sin), then we were off to submit the SSN applications. Thereafter, hubby and I rushed off to submit my enrollment form at college and then to do some paperwork at the bank before they closed for the day. The rest of the evening was shopping time!

After browsing the net for sometime, I realised there's an outlet within a stone's throw from WH that sells Dermalogica products. The best thing is, it's 30-40% cheaper than what I paid for in Singapore!
I spent around US$200+ on 5 Derma items and an OPI polish, which could have set me back at least S$350 if the purchases were made in Sin. That means I saved a whopping S$80! Hubby must have felt very proud of his wifey for the savings. Hahaha...

Later in the evening we headed to West County Centre for some quick shopping since by the time we reached there, we only had 1 hour left to shop before closing time.
It looked like a ghost town even on a Friday night in the mall. I guessed most of the Americans were either at home having family dinners, out at the bars or trying their luck in the casinos. That's Mingwei and Say Kwee's backviews shown here.
It's sales everywhere! The shopaholic in me managed to grab a dress from VS, and a top and skirt from H&M witihn a couple of minutes. Made the poor guys waited for me again, sorry!
The relatively quiet Apple Store. All the new iPhones are sold out, so patience guys. We will try our best to get the promised phones.
On our way back, we didn't see many lamp posts lining the streets; not even the freeways. Ask me to drive alone at night and I am sure I will freak out.

Saturday and Sunday were more eventful since we visited more intresting places and took some colourful pictures. I shall try to post them up later as I need to go back to the Driver Guide now. I am hoping I can pass the written test at my 1st try tmr, but seems like a goal hard to reach especially when I just got started on the 122-page guide yesterday. Wish me luck!
