Shopping Madness over the Memorial Weekend

Memorial Day is a US federal holiday observed on the last Monday in each May. It commerates US men and women who died while in military service. It is also the time where stores across the entire country slash prices to attract customers over the long weekend. Mum, Geri and I went Woodbury- the biggest outlet in US, early Friday morning to beat the sales crowd and left New York happily on Sat morning with an extra luagge each in tow. Though Hubby did not join us in the NY shopping madness, he did his part in boasting the US economy by buying 10 polo tees over these 2 days in Marshalls and the Mills. With a couple more federal holidays in the remaining months, I bet Hubby will leave the States with enough polo tees to last him for at least the next 3 years. I should start stocking up more clothes for myself now...
